Carol (Practice Manager)

Carol has lived locally for 12 years. She has worked in Talunga Clinic for over 10 years and as our pratice manager for 8 years. She continues to enjoy the challenges faced in managing a country general practice. In her spare time, she enjoys swimming and spending time with her grandchildren

Gwen (Practice Nurse)

Gwen trained as a registered nurse in Mount Pleasant Hospital and the Royal Adelaide Hospital in 1970. She then completed her midwifery training at the QVH in 1971. She has worked in Mount Pleasant Hospital for 24 years and at Talunga Clinc for 10 years as the Practice nurse. She has an interest in diabetes and asthma. Gwen spends her spare time with her grandchildren, gardening and travelling in a caravan with her husband.


Julie, Sharna, Kerri, Marley, Jen and Maria

Our team of friendly reception staff are well trained to handle any queries as well as assist with any administrative concerns.  

Katrina (Practice Nurse)

Katrina has many previous years experience in community nursing which makes her a valuable asset to the practice in performing our health assessments for the elderly. She also has much experience in wound dressings and manages chronic wound care in a variety of our patients. 

Jess (Practice Nurse)

Jessica lives in the Barossa. She joined the Talunga clinic fresh out of university and has fully embraced the life of a practice nurse. 

She has a keen interest in chronic health issues with a particular focus on cardiovascular disease prevention.
